The Project
The Rozelle Interchange stands as a pivotal element within the expansive WestConnex project, touted as Australia's most significant road development initiative. Spearheaded by the NSW government, this endeavour seeks to establish a groundbreaking underground motorway interchange, seamlessly integrating the M4-M5 Link Tunnels, City West Link, and the forthcoming Western Harbour Tunnel. Moreover, it envisions a transformative endeavor, repurposing the dormant Rozelle rail yards into a sprawling expanse of up to 10 hectares of open space, promising a vibrant future for the local community.
The Rozelle Interchange is a new underground motorway interchange which provides connectivity to the M4-M5 Link Tunnels and the City West Link, and underground bypass of Victoria Road between Iron Cove Bridge and Anzac Bridge. The Rozelle Interchange also provides a connection to the future Western Harbour Tunnel.
