This year’s theme is “Inspire Inclusion”. When we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there's a sense of belonging, relevance and empowerment. The Inspire Inclusion campaign aims to forge a more inclusive world for women.

Embracing Women's Empowerment
International Women's Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Marked annually on March 8th, IWD is one of the most important days of the year to:
- celebrate women's achievements
- educate and raise awareness for women's equality
- call for positive change advancing women
- lobby for accelerated gender parity

Diversity is having a seat at the table;
inclusion is having a voice and belonging is having that voice be heard.
Inclusion should be seen as a basic universal human right. The aim of inclusion is to embrace all people irrespective of their age, race or gender. We need to foster equal respect and understanding without bias or judgement for everyone in a society or workplace.
Inspiring inclusion for all women should promote and encourage a woman to feel this diversity and create the sense of belonging which should in turn empower them to reach their full potential.
The greatest thing you can do for a woman is to LISTEN to her and HEAR her. Appreciate her input, her ideas and suggestions with an open mind. If a woman is truly heard then it can be a great source of empowerment and bring a feeling of belonging. An empowered woman with a sense of belonging has the extraordinary ability to inspire change in others around her through their actions, achievements, and determination both personally and professionally.

I take pride in being part of an organisation that is reshaping perceptions of women within a traditionally male-dominated industry
